The Producers of
Thrills Spills and Chills had a chance to sit down with their spokesperson for the TSC infomercial, Natazah Aikens. Natazah is a
bright and beautiful young lady hailing from San Diego, California.
On location, in Venice Beach, California, the director “Boomer” was
pleasantly surprised by her professionalism and hard work that made
for a fun shoot for the whole crew. Since the infomercial has been
airing nationally, TSC Productions have been inundated with phone
calls and e-mails wondering just who is this beautiful person and
what’s her story with action sport.
Question: First off, your name
sounds like Natasha, N-a-t-a-s-h-a but you spell it with a Z instead
of an s. Does it have any cultural or family significance?
Natazha: No. My mom was just being creative.
Q: Where are you from?
N: I am from San Diego, California.
Q: How did you get involved with
Thrills Spills and Chills?
N: My friend got me the audition.
Q: What was the audition like?
N: I was excited and nervous but it was easy because I
really prepared for it.
Q: Did you know that TSC Productions
looked at over 200 girls before they cast you for the part?
N: I didn't know that until the day we were shooting. I was
really surprised but proud of myself.
Q: Have you ever done an
infomercial?
N: No. This was the first time I got to speak on camera.
Q: The director said you really had
your “game on” when shooting, you knew all of your lines very well.
Are you always that prepared?
N: I always try my best no matter what it is. I really wanted to
do a good job so I practiced as much as I could.
Q: Are you an actor?
N: No
Q: Are you a model first or an
actor first?
N: A model.
Q: Were you nervous during the
shooting of the infomercial?
N: Yes, I was most nervous the day before and that morning but
once we started shooting the nervousness went away and I started
having fun.
Q: What was the most exciting part
of the shoot for the infomercial?
N: The most exciting part was interviewing the people on
the street because it was spontaneous and the people I talked to were
interesting and nice.
Q: Do you do any of the action
sports?
N: I like to skateboarding and I am learning how to surf.
Q: Which is our favorite to watch?
N: Skateboarding
Q: If you can go pro in any of the
sports, which one would it be?
N: Basketball
Q: Why do you think you did so well
during the shoot?
N: I did so well because of the wonderful people I got to
work with. They were so pleasant and very helpful. They made me fell
really comfortable and made me laugh even when I messed up.
Q: This is the first time anyone
has done an infomercial like this for action sports films, do you feel
like your part of history now?
N: I don't know. I do know that I am very happy to be a part of
this project and I hope that it is successful.
Q: Have you’ve seen Thrills Spills and
Chills?
N: yes
Q: The director of the infomercial
says your going to be a big star some day, do you think you’re on your
way?
N: I don't know what the future holds. All I can do is live
everyday to the fullest and seize whatever opportunities come my way.
(but I wouldn't mind becoming a star).
Q: Are you up for Thrills Spills and
Chills 2?
N: Definitely
Q: And the one question all the
guy’s are waiting for…do you have a boyfriend? Wait! Let’s just
keep’em guessing!

Thanks Natazha!
